The Greenville County Library System is governed by eleven Board members appointed by the Greenville County Council. Each board member serves a term of 4 years and can be reappointed. Board meetings are open to the public except when the Board is in executive session.
Unless otherwise posted, Board of Trustees Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month, except November and December, at 12:00p in the Board Room of the Hughes Main Library on the upper level in the administrative area. Minutes for meetings are posted once approved by the Board of Trustees during their next scheduled meeting.
Meeting cancellations are sent to the Greenville County Clerk to Council and posted online.
