Watch video of the progress of the Heritage Green Improvement project here.

Heritage Green in downtown Greenville is a cultural destination, providing visitors of all ages a vibrant place of discovery, inspiration and creativity.

Along with the Hughes Main Library, five other premier organizations are located at Heritage Green: The Children’s Museum of the Upstate, Greenville County Museum of Art, Greenville Little Theatre, the Museum & Gallery, and the Upcountry History Museum-Furman University.

Now in progress, the Heritage Green improvement project is creating new landscaped spaces—ideal both as visitor gathering spots and as outdoor venues for Heritage Green programming
and performances.

The project also includes installation of new signage throughout the campus plus a digital display to highlight Heritage Green
event announcements.

This $1.5 million project is funded by Greenville County through local hospitality tax revenues and managed by the City of Greenville. Mavin Construction, LLC is on schedule to complete
the Heritage Green Improvement Project in January 2014.
